Terms and Conditions
This service contract takes the form of an extended warranty so therefore the following conditions will apply.
The following items are covered:

All service calls to sites to check faulty equipment.

All repairs carried out to faulty equipment.

Replacement of all parts which are beyond economical repair.

All information, advice or programming required to maintain the efficient operation of this system.

All telephone support calls required to maintain the system

While covered by this contract a K. T. Communications engineer will visit your site at least once every year to check your system. (Assuming that no other calls have already been made to the system during this period)
The following items are not covered:

Any damage caused by lightening (normally covered by office insurance)

Any damage caused by liquid or moisture.

Any damage caused by obvious abuse or misuse of equipment.

Any labour or parts required to expand or move the Telephone System to a new location.

Maintenance and repair of cordless phones
-
All major restructuring or reprogramming of the telephone system
During a Service Contract period K. T. Communications will undertake to abide by the above conditions and provide the customer with a high level of service support.
Important Notes for Telephone System Usage:
- No unauthorised equipment may be connected to this telephone system without the prior approval of K. T. Communications.
- The customer is not permitted to move, exchange or swap any telephone instruments without first contacting K. T. Communications.
- If required we will connect cordless phones, fax machines, modems etc. to this system however the customer must not connect these devices without first contacting K. T. Communications as this can cause serious damage to the system.
- The customer must never attempt to reprogram the system except for any programming which has been clearly shown during the training process. If any programming is required then K. T. Communications must be contacted.
- No unauthorised personnel are permitted to interfere with any connected wiring or extensions on this system.
- In the event of any malfunction with your telephone equipment, it is important to contact K. T. Communications first to establish the cause of the problem.
- If the customer decides to use a third party carrier for his telephone traffic then K. T. Communications has no direct control over any line changes or number changes required by the customer.
It is imperative that these conditions are strictly adhered to otherwise the system warranty or service contract will be invalidated.

Telephone System Service Contract Benefits
- All call-out and labour charges are covered for all general service work
- All repairs or replacement of faulty parts are covered
- All telephone support calls are free of charge
- Any chargeable labour to extend or relocate system will be charged at a lower rate
- All customers with a service contract will receive one courtesy calls per year to check the system for faults and damage. (Assuming that no other calls have already been made to the system during this period)
- Service Contract customers will be informed of any software upgrades or developments which become available for their system.
- All customers with service contracts are given priority status for service calls and upgrade work.
- When a service contact customer has a line fault we will identify the problem, report to Eircom and liaise with the Eircom technician to get it repaired ASAP.
