Typical Requirements Include:
Public Address systems:
By connecting a paging system to the telephone system, users can make announcements across speakers through their telephone handset. This is useful if you are uncertain as to the location of the individual that you are looking for. Calls can be announced over the Public Address system and then transferred to a desired location.
Man Down Alert System:
For hazardous environments, an alert system can be carried on a person, which can be activated manually or if the person falls over. The unit will then ring a predetermined list of numbers and play an automated message making the individual who is responsible for safety aware that an incident has occurred at the factory.
Water Proof Boxes For Phones:
As many factories use high pressure water cleaning systems, phones in the factory need to be protected. This involves placing the phone inside a water-proof box with a handle and bell to let nearby users know that the phone is ringing.
Background Music:
With an installed Public Address System, we play music across the factory floor, e.g. a radio station or CDs. If an announcement needs to be made the music will mute, the announcement will come across, and then the music will resume.
Link Multiple Sites together through VOIP:
Many factory owners now have multiple sites and in order to reduce overheads and costs it is possible to link these sites together using voice-over-IP technology. This enables desk-to-desk dialling and shared reception duties together with many other cost-saving benefits.
